The aim of the course is to further increase awareness and knowledge of all advanced functions in this environment. Above all this means looking at aspects linked with the optimal production of a Flash site: initial design, content development and publication.
Characteristics and aims
- A quick review of all basic design, animation and interaction principles.
- Analysis of advanced animation techniques through dedicated examples.
- Flash and video. Integration with Quick Time. How to produce cinema and television contributions.
- How to integrate JavaScript functions into Flash.
- Programming basics with action script: properties and variables.
- Using “if” and “loop” cycles to run checks and redo code routines.
- Using "if frame is loaded" command to check site downloading process. Examples of checks on download percentage.
- How to manage scrollable text fields.
- How to print complete films or single objects from Flash.
- Using the "trace" function for checks in a working environment.
- The "load movie" command as an alternative to "ger url" for multi-level Flash applications.
- How to interface a swf file with Server-side applications: load movie command options, ger url and load variables.
- Analysis of all new actions and functions in Flash 5.
- Programming with objects.
- Examples of forms created in Flash.
- Examples of interactive games.
- Main functions and use of Flash Generator.
Also included in the programme are Case Histories with Italy’s most important web agencies.
